Health psychology for children and youth, connected across the world

The International Health Psychology Association for Children & Youth connects clinicians and researchers across the field worldwide, through conferences, monthly webinars, training and collaboration that crosses borders. Building on the work of the European Paediatric Psychology Network (EPPN).

The official start of our new organisation!

Dear all,
‍
It is with great excitement that we are announcing the official start of our new organisation: the International Health Psychology Association for Children & Youth or IHPAC.
‍
Listening to your concerns after announcing our new name at the Townhall that took place at EPPC 2025 in Málaga, we believe that "International Health Psychology Association for Children & Youth" or “IHPAC" is inclusive of the wide variety of people supporting young people and their families with the psychological aspects of illness, injury, and the promotion of health behaviours!
‍
This new start and change of name reflect the wealth of growth within paediatric health settings across the world, and our goals will remain similar to what we have built up with EPPN in the past 5 years. Our main mission will be to grow awareness and utilization of health psychology in children, adolescents, and young adults (also referred to as paediatric psychology around the world), through seminars, conferences, stimulating international collaboration, as well as training and outreach.
‍
We look forward to going on this new journey with you. Keep your eyes peeled for updates, new activities, and ways to get involved soon!
